This wildly successful children’s MMO was Disney’s first entry into the MMORPG market. Players created toon avatars and battled Corporate Cogs with pies, seltzer bottles, and other toon appropriate “weapons” to prevent the spread of the dark, gray corporate buildings encroaching on the bright and colorful ToonTown. Coming into an already established live game, my work was primarily focused on creating elder content, such as Donald’s Dreamland, a higher level area for more advanced players, event planning, and finding ways to improve player experiences and retention.
